Getting started with Epinium
This guide takes you from sign-up to your first AI-powered product optimization on Amazon.
Estimated time: 15–30 minutes of setup, plus 24 h of automatic background sync.
Before you start
You need administrator access to at least one of these Amazon accounts: Seller Central, Vendor Central, or Amazon Advertising. If your account is of the individual type (not professional), you will not be able to connect it — Amazon only allows API access on professional accounts.
Step 1: Connect your Amazon account
Go to Settings → Connections and add your accounts:
- Seller Central — to sync catalog, prices, stock, and images
- Vendor Central — for vendor accounts with specific fields (COGS, Net PPM, etc.)
- Amazon Advertising — to manage and optimize advertising campaigns
You can connect all three types at the same time. Each one requires authorizing access with your Amazon account via the standard OAuth flow. See the detailed guide at Connections.
Step 2: Wait for the first sync
Once the account is connected, Epinium automatically starts the initial synchronization:
- Catalog and sales metrics: available within the first 24 hours
- Advertising data (campaigns, keywords, reports): available within the first 24 hours
No action is required. You can close the browser and come back later — the data will be ready when you return.
Step 3: Verify your data in the dashboard
When the sync is complete, go to the Dashboard to confirm everything is correct:
- Check that sales, sessions, and/or advertising metrics for the recent period are showing
- Verify that the connected marketplaces are active in the filter selector
- If you see empty data, review the connection status at Settings → Connections
Step 4: Optimize your first listing with AI
With the catalog synced, you can now generate SEO-optimized content:
- Go to Catalog → Products
- Select one or more products from the table
- Open the bulk edit panel and choose the fields to optimize (title, bullets, description, search terms)
- Select the "With AI" option and confirm the generation
- Review the generated content, approve it, and publish it to Amazon from the Publish changes section
First time with AI
If this is your first time, set up the brand profile at Settings → Brand and the AI instructions at Settings → AI Instructions beforehand. This significantly improves the quality of the generated content.
What to do next
Once you have completed the initial setup, these are the recommended next steps based on your goal:
- Improve search visibility → Catalog → Products — optimize listings in bulk with AI
- Reduce ACoS and improve advertising ROI → Advertising → AI Campaigns — create Smart Campaigns that self-optimize
- Plan stock and prevent stockouts → Forecast → Logistics — generate demand forecasts for FBA
