Amazon Integration
Epinium connects directly with Amazon's three main systems to synchronize data and manage campaigns from a single platform.
Amazon Seller Central
Syncs the seller's complete catalog:
- Products, prices, stock and images
- Publishing content changes (title, bullets, description)
- Automatic daily sync
Amazon Vendor Central
Syncs the vendor catalog with its specific fields:
- Products with Manufacturing and Sourcing metrics
- Vendor Central-specific fields (COGS, Net PPM, etc.)
- Automatic daily sync
Amazon Advertising API (v3)
Full campaign management:
- Create, pause and modify campaigns
- Bid and target adjustment
- Performance report downloads
- Supported types: Sponsored Products (SP), Sponsored Brands (SB), Sponsored Display (SD)
Sync frequency
Sales and advertising data sync daily. Changes published from Epinium to Amazon may take between 15 minutes and a few hours to appear on Amazon.
Configure connections
To link your Amazon accounts, go to Settings → Connections.
Common issues
Authorization fails when connecting to Amazon
Most common cause: the OAuth authorization process was interrupted or did not complete correctly.
Solution: go to Settings → Connections, delete the existing connection and restart the authorization process from the beginning. Make sure to complete all steps without closing the browser window.
The connected user does not have sufficient permissions
Cause: the Amazon account used to connect does not have administrator permissions in Seller Central or Vendor Central.
Solution: connect with an account that has the administrator role or, in Seller Central, with permissions to "Manage your Amazon account information". Users with limited permissions cannot authorize third-party applications.
The Amazon account is individual (not professional)
Cause: only professional seller accounts have access to the Amazon API (SP-API). Individual accounts cannot connect.
Solution: upgrade your account to a professional seller plan in Seller Central. This requirement is enforced by Amazon and cannot be bypassed from Epinium.
Some marketplaces don't appear in Epinium
Cause: the marketplace is not enabled in the Amazon account or was not included during authorization.
Solution: verify that the marketplace is active in Seller Central / Vendor Central. If authorization was performed without including that marketplace, disconnect and reconnect selecting all required marketplaces.
Advertising data is not syncing
Possible cause 1: the account does not have access to the Amazon Advertising API. This access must be enabled separately in Amazon.
Possible cause 2: the advertising account is not linked to the same profile as Seller/Vendor Central.
Solution: check in the Amazon Advertising console that the account has API access. If access is denied, contact Amazon Advertising support to request it.
Access token has expired
Cause: Amazon OAuth tokens have a limited validity. If the session expires, synchronization stops.
Solution: go to Settings → Connections and reconnect the affected account to renew the token.
Vendor Central account requires an invitation
Cause: Vendor Central is not open access; Amazon directly invites vendors. If you try to connect an account that does not yet have Vendor Central access, the connection will fail.
Solution: make sure your account is active in Vendor Central (you should have received an invitation from Amazon). If you haven't received one, contact your Amazon representative directly.
