Export the catalog to Excel
Access from: Catalog → Products → table More options menu → Download
Download your products to an Excel file (.xlsx) choosing exactly which products and which columns you want. You can export what you see in the table as is, or build a custom file, for example with the EAN, all the images and the five bullet points of each product, without touching your table configuration.
It only affects the file
What you choose in the download (rows, columns, filters) only applies to that file. Your table, its columns and its filters stay as they were.
How to export
- In the products table, open More options → Download. The Export data panel opens.
- Choose the rows (step 1), the columns (step 2) and the file name (step 3). At the bottom you always have the summary of the columns and rows you are going to export.
- Click Export.
- The file is generated in the background. When it is ready you will find it in Downloads, in your profile menu (Settings → Export), and we will let you know by email.
Step 1: Which rows do you want to export?
| Option | What it exports |
|---|---|
| Current view | The products you see in the table right now, with your current filters, search and sort order |
| Selected rows | Only the products you have ticked in the table. It is enabled when some row is ticked. If you have selected all pages, it exports all the products that match your filters |
| All records | All your products, ignoring filters and search (it keeps the table's sort order) |
| Custom filters | The products that match filters you define only for this export |
If you have rows ticked when you open the download, the option selected by default is Selected rows. Otherwise, Current view.
Only the products from the connections you have access to are ever exported.
Custom filters
With this option a filter editor just like the table's one appears: the general filters (Connection, Country, Clusters, Task and Problem) and the advanced filters, with groups, conditions and search in list properties. You can filter by the same things as in the table, but these filters are not applied to it.
It is useful to get a specific file without undoing what you have set up in the table: for example, all the products of a country without an EAN, while you keep working with another view.
The Export button is enabled as soon as there is at least one filter.
Step 2: Which columns to export?
- Visible columns: the same columns you see in the table and in the same order (the action and selection columns are not exported). This is the default option.
- Customize columns: you choose which columns to include and in what order:
- On the left, Available columns: all the product fields, with the same selector and search box as Edit columns. It starts with your table's visible columns ticked.
- On the right, Selected in order: the columns that will go into the file. Use the arrows to change the order and the × to remove one. New ones are added at the end.
List properties: one column per position
Properties that store a list of values (bullet points, images, offers…) appear with the [*] mark. Ticking one adds position 1. Click the mark to choose more positions: each position is a column in the file.
Example: ticking Bullet points [*] and choosing positions 1 to 5 generates five columns in the Excel file: Bullet points [1], Bullet points [2]… Bullet points [5].
If a list property is left with no position chosen, it does not generate any column. More detail in List properties and the [*] mark.
Step 3: File name
Type the file name (products by default). When it is generated, the date and time of generation are added at the end, so two downloads never overwrite each other: products-2026-09-24_103015.xlsx.
Use unaccented letters, numbers, hyphens and underscores: spaces, accents and other special characters are replaced with _ (spring catalog becomes spring_catalog, and café becomes caf_).
The file
- Excel format (
.xlsx), with one sheet and one header row. - The headers are the column names in your platform language, the same ones you see on screen (see Field names).
- Values are exported as data, not as they are displayed in the table, so you can work with them in Excel:
| In the table | In the Excel file |
|---|---|
| Image | The image URL, as a link |
| Checkbox or traffic light (Yes/No) | Yes or No |
| Tasks | Number of pending tasks |
| Connection | Connection name and its type |
| Country | Country code |
| List of values in a cell | The values separated by commas |
| Dates | Excel date (can be sorted and filtered as a date) |
| Numbers, amounts and percentages | Excel numbers, with the format of your regional settings |
Many columns
There is no limit on rows or columns, but if a list property generates more than 24 columns the selector warns you: check whether you really need all those positions.
Where to find your downloads
Your files are in Downloads, in your profile menu (Settings → Export), with the type Product catalog. There you can see the name, who created it, the status (In progress, Completed or Failed), the size and the expiry date.
- Files are kept for 30 days. After that they are deleted automatically, so if you want to keep one, download it and store it yourself.
- If a download shows as Failed after several attempts, launch it again and, if it happens again, contact support.
